On 6 & 7 April 2012 (the 1st and 2nd day of the Easter holiday), your kids can discover 30,000 colourful eggs hidden in the sand of Tai Pak Beach in Discovery Bay and win fabulous prizes with the eggs they hunt. They can also enjoy the Fun Fair at DB Plaza and the special Easter edition of DBN Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza at the same time. Come to Discovery Bay and fill the Easter holiday of your kids with laughter and nice surprises!

Hunt for 30,000 Colourful Easter Eggs on Tai Pak Beach (12 noon to 5pm)

Divided into 3 age groups (3-4, 5-6 and 7-10), the two-day Easter Egg Hunt will welcome 3,200 children to dig out 30,000 colourful Easter eggs on the beach. To win the special prizes, they have to dig out eggs in Golden, Silver, Blue, Purple, Red, Green and Orange colours hidden among other Easter eggs on the beach.

A total of 30,000 prizes worth HK$900,000 will be ready for redemption. The Golden Egg hunter will receive the Grand Prize worth HK$10,000 presented by Hong Kong Broadband Network, i.e. bb100 Broadband Service + bbTV Entertainment Plus + a surprise gift. Other wonderful prizes for the Silver, Blue, Purple, Red, Green and Orange Egg hunters will also be given away, each worth from a few hundred to as much as HK$1,400. In addition, every egg hunted will entitle the kids to redeem an “Eggs Redemption Prize” assigned by the Organizer. So the more eggs hunted, the more gifts will be taken home¹! All participating children will also receive a Welcome Goodies Bag and a Certificate of Excellence.

A HK$180 participation fee per child² will be collected, part of which will go to Playright Children’s Play Association, a non-profit organisation that seeks to enrich the lives of children through quality play, as donation and programme fee. Each participant will also be given an “Easter Egg Hunt Dining Voucher”³ worth HK$100 which can be used for food and beverage consumption at designated restaurants⁴ at D Deck and DB North Plaza.

Online registration for the Easter Egg Hunt (www.ddeck.com.hk) will begin from 2pm on 5 March 2012 and close at 6pm on 9 March 2012. Number of participants is limited and entry tickets will be allocated by balloting if the number of registration exceeds capacity.

Fun Fair with 9 Game Zones at DB Plaza (10:30am to 6:30pm)

An Easter Fun Fair will be held at the adjacent DB Plaza to complement the Easter Egg Hunt on the beach. A total of nine game zones will be set up, where children can participate in a variety of innovative and interactive games. What’s more, the open-air market will provide your children with the choices of delicious snacks, fun entertainment and unique products to help “re-energise” you and your family!

Easter DBN Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza (12 noon to 6:30pm)
Want to bring your kids additional amusement and excitement? Just take the free shuttle bus to DB North Plaza where a special Easter edition of DBN Family Kingdom is awaiting your kids. Six fun games including inflatable games and fun workshops, clown performance & free balloon twisting and free photo shooting service will be in store for your kids.

Enjoy Free Ferry Ride Offer⁵ by D Deck
Free ferry ride will be offered to children aged 12 and under who travel from Central to Discovery Bay between 10:00am and 3:30pm on 6 and 7 April 2012 (single journey from Central to Discovery Bay only, and the journey time is around 25 minutes).

What’s more, simply present HK$100 original receipt from any of the 12 designated restaurants5 at the D Deck Free Ferry Service Counter located at DB Plaza, just next to the brown Security Guard Post, and you can enjoy a free ferry ride back to Central on the same day (the Easter Egg Hunt dining voucher is not entitled to this offer).
