Discovery Bay will celebrate the creepily happy Halloween as we approach October. Halloween-themed decorations will cast a spooky spell over both DB North Plaza and DB Plaza. Meanwhile, the first-of-its-kind art-jamming activity at DB North Plaza on all the four weekends of October 2012 will offer a unique and artistic experience for kids and bring a touch of class to the Halloween celebration. Check out the Halloween Carnival which will be fun for the whole family!
 
Eerie Decoration + Fluorescent Art-jamming at DB North Plaza
Starting from the first weekend of October 2012, DB North Plaza will be ablaze with decorations of Pumpkin King and Lighting Skeletons sending out spooky vibes. As the night falls, colourful skeleton spotlights will be splashed on DB North Plaza piazza to create a glowing ambience. What’s more, a 12-feet art jam wall will let children gleefully play with colours and draw images that represent their own innovative ideas, with special fluorescent pens. The environment will be relaxed and they shall have the company of their peers. So, head out to DB North Plaza with your kids on the following dates and enjoy the free activities:

DB North Plaza Glow-in-the-Dark Spooky Party: 5pm-9pm on 31 October 2012
This year’s carnival will reach its climax with DB North Plaza Glow-in-the-Dark Spooky Party on 31 October 2012. The party will feature engaging game booths offering fluorescent face painting and spooktastic costumes for photo shooting, ghostly shooting games, as well as the very popular Spooky Bouncy Castle for kids. To enjoy these special privileges, simply make purchases at the designated merchants1 on Halloween and get game tickets. You can also receive some attractive gifts.
 
Spend HK$50 or more Get a ticket to play at a game booth. Kids winning the game can receive candies as gifts!
Spend HK$150 or more Get a luminous gift pack containing luminous props for party goers to dress up.

Awesome Performance by Bloody Vicky: 5pm – 9pm on 31 October 2012
This year, a stilt walker Bloody Vicky will arrive Discovery Bay with her friend Yuliya, a phantom accordionist, to meet new friends at DB North Plaza. Another highlight of this year’s party is the special lighting diabolo performance. You will be thrilled to watch the terrific performance and be spell-bound! Don’t miss these fabulous performances and take snapshots with the performers.
 
Other Spooktastic Entertainment@ DB Plaza: 6pm – 10pm on 31 October 2012
Just take the free Spooktastic Shuttle Bus (departs from DB North Plaza every 30 minutes) to DB Plaza, where you will find the Scenic Castle, a prominent castle decoration that greatly enhances the Halloween atmosphere.  Remember to watch out for a 2.5 meters tall inflated Fat Stilt Killer Chef accompanied by his pal the Halloween Accordionist roaming at D’Deck. They will be more than happy to pose with you for festive photos! 
 
In addition, there will be lots of spooky fun in store for you at the piazza of DB Plaza. Don’t miss the Halloween-themed booths2 offering balloon twisting, face painting and pumpkin cake-making. Also, look for the ghostly Halloween characters who will give away free candies to kids. Let your kids relish the wonderful Halloween memory and take pictures with them. Moreover, free instant photo shooting service will be provided at the Scenic Castle, a splendid backdrop for family pictures!
