This year, the DBN Family Kingdom will introduce more innovative and exciting inflatable games, and above all, the Short & Sweet Horse Carriage Tour, filling DB North Plaza with gales of laughter.

New Inflatable Games and the Short & Sweet Horse Carriage Tour: Perfect for Young and Old
DBN Family Kingdom¹ will be bringing you brand-new inflatable games which are both fun and challenging for the body and mind. What’s more, parents can play with their children!

The 1,600 sq.ft. Bouncy Maze is decorated in vibrant colours and with dazzling patterns to create illusions and make it less easy to navigate. Apart from keeping time, staff members will set up checkpoints at different corners of the maze to see who can reach the exits via the most direct route. Children under 3 can be accompanied by their parents.

In Bouncy Hercules, participants tied to a giant rubber band will try to beat the pull of the rubber band to run and touch the finishing point with their hands. Having explosive power and being swift is considered to be essential for winning the game!

Another must-try activity is the Short & Sweet Horse Carriage Tour², bringing a relaxing ride through the European-style architectures and fascinating scenery in north Discovery Bay. The carriage is to be drawn by two Percheron mares, each with unique features and characters. Your children can learn first-hand more about the horses by inquiring with the horses’ handlers. There are also other classic games and challenges in store for the children! Don’t miss DBN Family Kingdom, in which everyone can get closer to the nature and breathe in some fresh air. DB North Plaza can be easily reached by the Free Express Shuttle departing from DB Bus Terminus every 30 minutes on the half hour and on the hour, or by external buses from Tung Chung or Sunny Bay MTR stations. DB North Plaza, spread over an area of 186,000 sq. ft. at the Yi Pak area, was opened in 2010. This new retail mall serves as the second social hub for Discovery Bay residents and visitors.

¹ There is no entry fee for the DBN Family Kingdom but all games come with a consumption requirement. Upon spending HK$50 or above at designated merchants of DB North Plaza, customers can redeem a game ticket with the original same-day receipt at the “DBN Family Kingdom Fan Club” counter. Each ticket admits one person to any one of the specified games on the same day.

² The Short & Sweet Horse Carriage Tour at DB North Plaza is tentatively available from 1pm-6pm on the 4th Saturday and Sunday of each month starting April 2013. The price of the approximately 10-minute ride is HK$380, with a maximum capacity of 4 people (including 2 adults and 2 children).
