The 25th Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival will be back this Tuen Ng Festival on 1 & 2 June 2014 (Sunday & Monday) in Discovery Bay, filling the neighbourhood with fun, laughter, energy and carnival atmosphere! The Dragon Boat Races will take place at Tai Pak Beach on 1 June, while the festive Carnival at DB Plaza will be held on both 1 & 2 June, bringing you spectacular performance, exciting games and booths selling all kinds of goodies.

A total of 49 teams representing Discovery Bay residents, various business corporations and professional bodies will compete in various races with their elaborately decorated dragon boats. This year, we are introducing the new school category, giving teenagers the opportunity for great workout and building team spirit.
At the same time, the open-air Carnival at DB Plaza, next to Tai Pak Beach, will be held two days in a row on 1 & 2 June at 10:30am - 6pm. Don't miss the thirst-quenching beer drinking competition and spectacular performances including Hong Kong Disneyland Cheerleading Team’s magnificent dance moves on stage! Besides, exhilarating games and dozens of booths off stage will keep adults and children busy!
The celebration is incomplete without savouring some fine food and drinks. Comprising 20 thematic restaurants, D’Deck is a renowned oceanfront alfresco dining hotspot in Hong Kong. Enjoy an unobstructed view of the races at the best seats in the restaurants!
