The 27th Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival will return to Discovery Bay this Tuen Ng Festival on 9 June 2016 (Thursday), filling the neighbourhood with fun, laughter, energy and carnival atmosphere! The spectacular Dragon Boat Races will take place at Tai Pak Beach, while the carnival at DB Plaza will ramp up the festive atmosphere with exciting inflatable games and game booths.

From 8am onwards on 9 June, 40 teams formed by Discovery Bay residents, corporates and professional bodies will gather in Tai Pak Beach to compete in 22 races with their elaborately decorated dragon boats. This year, we are proudly presenting a new Dragon Boat Market with beer and food booths together with a game zone for families on Tai Pak Beach. You and your family will be guaranteed a fun-filled day in Discovery Bay on Tuen Ng Festival.
At DB Plaza next to Tai Pak Beach, don’t miss the Open Air Carnival from 10:30am to 6:00pm. Colourful inflatable games and game booths will keep you and your kids busy all day long – the perfect way for some festive family fun with exhilarating games and cheers!

Programme: 7 Game booths, 2 inflatable games and roaming performances
Game Fee: One ticket per game, each ticket valued at HK$20. Patrons with consumption of every HK$50 at designated restaurants in Discovery Bay3 can redeem 1 game ticket by presenting single original on-day receipt, maximum 10 tickets per single receipt.
