HKRI’s Projects Recognised at the “CAPITAL The Outstanding Developer Awards 2016”

Two projects of HKR International Limited (“HKRI”) have been awarded at the “CAPITAL The Outstanding Developer Awards 2016” organised by CAPITAL Magazine and CAPITAL WEEKLY. Discovery Bay, the flagship project of HKRI, won the “Urban Design & Master Planning Award” and “Green Development Award”, both for the seventh consecutive year, and 2GETHER, the latest residential project in Tuen Mun, received the “Seaview Landmark Building Award”. The awards are solid testament to HKRI’s commitment and outstanding performance in upholding quality excellence and developing premium projects. 
 
Discovery Bay, Hong Kong’s largest premium low-density integrated development covering an area of approximately 650 hectares, was thoughtfully designed, planned and developed from scratch by the developer, and it is widely acknowledged as a pioneering model for sustainable integrated project in Asia. The full-fledged facilities include a 27-hole golf course, a 262-berth marina, a 400-metre manmade beach, a premium resort hotel, two premium clubhouses and two shopping malls. The developer is also dedicated to promoting green living in Discovery Bay by building cycling trails, organising a wide range of green programmes such as family farm and eco tours. Recently, food waste decomposers and a food donation programme have also been introduced to encourage food recycling and reduce food waste. The exceptional performance in green planning and environmental management in Discovery Bay have again earned recognition.
 
2GETHER, a landmark waterfront project in Tuen Mun South, comprises of 222 units with saleable area ranging from 253 to 869 square feet providing studio to 3-bedroom layouts. Most of the units enjoy stunning seascapes*. Full consideration has been given to making the best use of natural light and ventilation with the east-facing orientation and extensive use of glass curtain walls, which also allow residents to revel in the fascinating sea views*.
