In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong will present a 5-day festive feast at its all-day dining restaurant, Café bord de Mer & Lounge, as well as outdoor celebration at its expansive seaside terrace on the night of Mid-Autumn Festival itself. Guests are invited to enjoy a warm and fun celebration with their families in this traditional festival that celebrates the harvest and values family togetherness.
With the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival public holidays fall on the same week this year, Café bord de Mer & Lounge is delighted to present a 5-day Mid-Autumn Festival Lunch and Dinner Buffets starting from 1 October. Apart from the all-time-favourite seafood and sashimi, a variety of sumptuous cuisines to celebrate the traditional harvest festival will also be offered, including Steamed Fillets of Garoupa with Mushroom and Yunnan Ham, Peking Duck Pizza as well as Wok-fried Tiger Prawns with Cheese and Tomato Butter Sauce. What's more, our chef has specially designed a selection of dishes that are prepared with Mid-Autumn festival seasonal ingredients, such as Pomelo Fennel Salad with Roasted Chicken, Slow-braised Pork Belly with Persimmon and Kimchi as well as Grilled Rack of Lamb with Star Fruit and Lemongrass to give a festive boost to the buffet spread.
Moreover, guests can enjoy making Iced Pineapple Tea by themselves as a refreshing drink following the feast. An extensive range of desserts will be offered to further tempt the palates of our guests, including Spiced Pumpkin Cheese Cake, Dark Chocolate Truffle Cake with Star Fruit and Raspberry, Mango Pomelo Mousse Pancake and more. Mövenpick ice cream cups are served as well for guests to conclude their festive feast on a sweet and satisfactory note. Dinner Buffet guests on 4 October, the actual day of Mid-Autumn Festival can take advantage of Café bord de Mer & Lounge's open-air seaside terrace - Café bord de Mer Terrace to enjoy moon gazing, which is a symbolic tradition to celebrate the festival. Colourful lanterns will be hung in the terrace to heighten the festivity atmosphere outdoor, while glowing kid's tents will be placed all over the field for moon gazing or kids to have fun inside. A series of fun games will also be arranged to keep all our guests entertained, including the Pool Soccer that innovatively combines the fun of playing 8-ball pool with soccer skills on a giant platform.
