Funtastic Summer at Discovery Bay 2018

Go on an adventure at the Jurassic Water Park and
exhilarating inflatables throughout the Summer

What better way to beat the summer heat than with refreshing, fun-filled water and beach activities with your family? This summer, Discovery Bay has prepared many exciting games for you to enjoy a Funtastic Summer!

From 21 July to 12 August, Tai Pak Beach will turn into a Jurassic Water Park with a series of exhilarating inflatables installed. At the centre of the park lies the Jurassic Water Slide, where children can enjoy thrilling dash as well as a breath-taking sea view. Other than that, energetic sporting activities including  Little Captain's Party and the Mini Summer Olympics will give children an unforgettable summer experience. Kids can also work together with their parents as a team and “roll” on water in the Family Roller. Every weekend during the event period, a Funtastic Summer‧Joyful Carnival will take place at the DB North Plaza, filled with fun games that will test children's coordination and reflexes.

For a total of three weeks and spanning four weekends, Funtastic Summer is open to public for free4. Besides exciting summer games, families can also indulge themselves in a wide selection of international cuisines at the renowned oceanfront alfresco dining hotspot D'Deck or DB North Plaza; or simply unwind, relax and soak up the sun with a cozy stay at Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong.

I)    Tai Pak Beach: Jurassic Water Park Adventure Filled with Inflatable Games
1)    Jurassic Water Slides 1 - Take a refreshing dive into fun and action
Three colourful and adorable little dinosaurs have invaded Tai Pak Beach this summer! The Jurassic Water Slides comprise three circular slides that allow children to soar into the sky alongside the little dinosaurs, all the while savouring the gorgeous view of Discovery Bay.

Height Restriction:
Due to safety matters, all the inflatable games at Discovery Bay's Tai Pak Beach (exclude “Family Roller Game”) are only for children of 90-130cm in height. By joining the games, participants agree to comply with the safety rules and the crew's instructions

2)    Family Roller2 - A test of teamwork for the family
Next to the Jurassic Water Slides are gigantic inflatable rollers that give you and your little ones a taste of how it feels to "walk" on water. It takes strength and balance to get rolling, so children will have to work together as a team to drift across the pool. Parents can also join in the fun and have a rolling good time with their kids.

Height Restriction:
Due to safety matters, Family Roller at Tai Pak Beach and games at DB North Plaza are only for children of 90-140cm in height. One adult is allowed to accompany one child each round.

3)    Little Captains Party3 - Refreshing fun
The pools come with colourful hand-paddled boats for children to test their stamina and reflexes. Who will conquer the waters and ride the tide? For those looking for something less physically demanding, there are also cute Animal Walla Walla to motor around in.

4)    Mini Summer Olympics3 - A showcase of young athletic talents
Besides exciting water games, Tai Pak Beach has many inflatable game booths for young athletes to showcase their sporting talents, including Mini All Star4, Super Baseball4 and Sticky Soccer4. In addition, there are also other playground amenities imported from the U.S. and Northern Europe, including the Rope Play Tower and Slide, Supernova Wheel, Hong Kong's one and only children zip line course and Specialty Swings that can accommodate a few children at a time. These amusement activities offer plenty of thrills, challenging children's coordination and balance to deliver a fun and rewarding summer experience!

5)    Leisure facilities - Take a break before even more fun
Discovery Bay has thoughtfully installed a mist tent, giant inflatable tents, beach benches and beach umbrellas for families to take a short break before challenging themselves to even more fun.
