The Discovery Bay annual event “Winter Wonderland” officially commenced on the evening of 21 November with a dazzling lighting ceremony and parade at DB North Plaza, marking the start of this year’s Christmas festivities. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Victor Cha, Executive Chairman of HKR International Limited (“HKRI”), and Mr. Kwok Ka Wa, Vice President of CITIC Pacific Limited (“CITIC Pacific”), the HKRI management team, and the immensely popular singer and actor Mr. Jeffrey Ngai. Together, they illuminated the spectacular decorations, which captivated hundreds of guests and the public. The evening’s highlight was Jeffrey’s performance, which left the crowd enthralled. This series of Christmas celebrations will continue from now until 1 January 2026, offering everyone a unique European-style winter holiday experience like no other.

The Hitswave Prelude 2025 by Metro
“The Hitswave Prelude 2025”, presented by Metro Broadcast and fully supported by Discovery Bay, will take place on 14th December (Sunday) at DB North Plaza. The event will feature a diverse line-up of artists performing their hit songs of the year. “The Hitswave Prelude” serves as both a music show and a prelude to the “Metro Radio Hits Music Awards”. Leading music acts will actively promote on-site, captivating the audience with their performances.

TVB’s “Midlife, Sing & Shine!” season one champion Albert Chau and third-place winner Ramon Lo, along with the emerging girl groups Beanies and IdG Bubbles, will deliver a spectacular live performance on 26 December at DB North Plaza! DB Winter Wonderland Christmas Markets at DB Plaza
Immerse yourself in the festive spirit at the Christmas Markets at DB Plaza! A grand Italian-style Christmas Market featuring charming wooden huts will take place from 25 to 28 December. The market will showcase a wide array of holiday-inspired handmade goods, exceptional wines and delectable treats. Enjoy delightful holiday activities, including Santa giving away little gifts, a magician performing enchanting tricks, kids' dance performances, and an exciting rope-skipping show. 

In addition, the regular Sunday Markets will feature festive Christmas theme on 23 November, and 14 December. Come enjoy the festive atmosphere! 


The KMB Pet Bus has arrived in Discovery Bay!
Discovery Bay is dedicated to fostering a pet-friendly community, with pet-welcoming shopping malls and facilities. In May, the first DB Pet Bus service was launched, connecting various areas of Hong Kong to Discovery Bay. 
Starting from 6 December, KMB’s Pet Bus will add drop-off and pick-up points in Discovery Bay, with two routes on weekends: one from Tai Po via Pak Shek Kok and Sha Tin to Discovery Bay, and another from Kai Tak via Whampoa and the West Kowloon Cultural District to Discovery Bay.
