The Sukhothai Bangkok was honoured with the “Green Hotel Plus” certification from the Department of Climate Change and Environment, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand. This certification scheme has been internationally recognised by Global Sustainable Tourism Council in June 2024. The selection process is very rigorous, and only 11 hotels in Thailand have received this award.
In an era where responsible tourism is paramount, The Sukhothai Bangkok continues to lead by example. Apart from on-going initiatives that reduce environmental footprints, the refurbished guest rooms now feature energy-efficient appliances, such as LED light bulbs, advanced insulation and innovative air duct linings, reducing emissions and energy consumptions.
