On 26-27 September, the Group’s flagship project in Shanghai HKRI Taikoo Hui participated in GREENEXT Expo 2025 held at Shanghai Exhibition Centre. At the opening ceremony, Ms. Connie Ting, Joint General Manager of HKRI Taikoo Hui, delivered a keynote speech and joined a roundtable forum, sharing HKRI Taikoo Hui’s strategies to advance sustainability. As a featured exhibitor, HKRI Taikoo Hui highlighted its role and impact in sustainability with innovative initiatives and success stories.

The expo also presented “Reborn”, a large-scale public artwork that HKRI Taikoo Hui collaborated with artist Mr. Gu Tianyu. Using traditional filigree craftsmanship, an intangible cultural heritage, and modern techniques, steel bars were transformed into a tree-shaped sculpture, with its shimmering leaves crafted from glass bottles. Both items were recycled from HKRI Taikoo Hui.

GREENEXT Expo 2025 is China’s first cross-industry exhibition and summit that focused on sustainable development. It featured showcases, seminars, workshops and public engagements across various sectors. The event united over 120 corporate and organisations, 183 global sustainability leaders and 5,000 participants to jointly explore solutions for sustainable development.
