The 23rd Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival 2012

The 23rd Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival will be back on 23 & 24 June 2012 in Discovery Bay, characterised by its uniquely European ambience. Spectacular dragon boats will appear in Tai Pak Bay amid the roar of drums and gongs, filling Discovery Bay with joy and excitement!

A total of 48 teams representing Discovery Bay residents, various business corporations and professional bodies will compete for a number of champions. What’s more, the incredible and colourful "Best Cheerleading Performance Session" by Hong Kong Disneyland is not to miss!

D Deck, the largest oceanfront alfresco dining hotspot in Hong Kong with 20 thematic restaurants, will not only offer international cuisine but also provide the best vantage point to watch the dragon boat races and all the happenings in Discovery Bay! You can also enjoy delectable cuisine there while chanting slogans to support the team of your choice!

The Carnival at DB Plaza near Tai Pak Bay will have over 40 booths selling fabulous merchandises & snacks. During the intermissions, fantastic stage shows will surely keep you and your family entertained.

The 23rd Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival 2012 will be held in conjunction with a special session of DBN Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza1, Dragon Boat Party, where your kids will be amused by an array of interactive games such as the exciting Fun Shooting, the one-of-a-kind Jolly Boating and children's favourite Bouncy Funland. Just a 5-minute ride by free shuttle bus will take you and your family from the excitement of the dragon boat races to the laughter of children enjoying themselves at Family Kingdom.

1 DBN Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza is a regular event which is held from 1pm to 6pm on every fourth Saturday and Sunday of each month. A variety of fun games are on offer for kids. The event will be suspended in July and August due to hot weather, and will resume in September.

2 The Free Ferry Ride Offer is valid for dinner consumption from Monday to Friday, and lunch /dinner consumption on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, on the same day of the transaction, and for the following schedules only: Mon-Fri: 7:30pm-12:00am; Sat/Sun/public holiday: 1:00pm-12:00am.
